- can I order just one DB9 cable?
- yes, there's no minimum quantity, but there is a $40 order minimum. one 12″ DB9 cable comes to $38.84, so an order of just that cable is $40; add more cables and the minimum is covered. shipping is free (UPS 2-day). prices drop at 10 and 50 units.
- are the contacts crimped or soldered?
- soldered. these shells come with solder-cup contacts built in, so each wire is soldered into its cup with lead-free solder — there's no separate contact to choose.
- which hoods can I choose?
- plastic hood (17E17241) or metal hood (17E165709). the hood is included in the price and fitted on every connector.
- what wire gauges and lengths?
- 20, 22, 24 AWG UL1007 hook-up wire, any length from 5″ to 48″. the prices above are at 22 AWG.
- how fast does it ship?
