- can I order just one 2-pin cable?
- yes, there's no minimum quantity, but there is a $40 order minimum. one 12 in (305 mm) 2-pin cable comes to $14.86, so an order of just that cable is $40; add more cables and the minimum is covered. shipping is free (UPS 2-day). prices drop at 10 and 50 units.
- which half holds the pins?
- the DTM04-2P receptacle holds pin contacts, and the DTM06-2S plug holds socket contacts. every contact is crimped with Deutsch's own specified tooling.
- does the DTM04-2P need a wedgelock?
- yes. the wedgelock (WM-2P for the receptacle, WM-2S for the plug) is fitted on every connector and already included in the price.
- what wire gauges and lengths?
- 20 AWG UL1007 hook-up wire, any length, 5–48 in (127–1219 mm). the prices above are at 20 AWG.
