- yes, there's no minimum quantity. one 12″ 8-pin cable is $49.96, and shipping is free (UPS 2-day). the order minimum is $40. prices drop at 10 and 50 units.
- which half holds the pins?
- the DTM04-08PA receptacle holds pin contacts, and the DTM06-08SA plug holds socket contacts. every contact is crimped with Deutsch's own specified tooling.
- does the DTM04-08PA need a wedgelock?
- yes. the wedgelock (WM-8P for the receptacle, WM-8S for the plug) is fitted on every connector and already included in the price.
- what wire gauges and lengths?
- 20 AWG UL1007 hook-up wire, any length from 5″ to 48″. the prices above are at 20 AWG.
